Engr. Dr. M.S. Haruna, Director / Chief Executive Officer visited the Danelec FZE Transformer manufacturing Factory. A delegation led by Engr. Dr. M.S. Haruna who is the Director/Chief Executive Officer of POWER EQUIPMENT & ELECTRICAL MACHINERY DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE (PEEMADI) OKENE, (National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure - NASENI), (FEDERAL MINISTRY OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY) visited the Danelec FZE Transformer Manufacrturing Factory on Tuesday 9th November 2010. They were conducted round the factory and the process of transformer manufacturing was shown and explained to them.

Danelec FZE exhibition stand which was visited by participants & the Hon. Minister of Commerce & Industry His Excellency, Chief Achike Udenwa who represented the President of Nigeria at the Summit on Nigeria’s Free Zones and the Economy organized in Abuja, Nigeria by the National Assembly Anti-Money Laundering and Cyber Security Coalition in collaboration with Federal Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

On Tuesday March 16th 2010, the Nigerian Senate Committee on Industry, led by its Chairman, Senator Kamarudeen A. Adetibu visited the Danelec FZE transformer manufacturing factory in the Free Zone, Calabar. Other members of the delegation were; Senator Sati Gagin, Senator Kuta and Mrs. Obi. The General Manager, Engr. Chief Giandomenica Massari explained to them the process of transformer manufacturing and the local content that is involved in the manufacturing of the transformers.

A team of The Nigerian Society of Engineers Port Harcourt Branch was conducted round the factory by Mr. Steve. Adeniran who offered good explanations on the manufacturing processes up to the testing and commissioning point and the great prospect ahead of the company
